Pair of Tufted Lounge Chairs + Ottoman in Butter Print Fabric

$6,800.00

A whimsical bespoke three-piece living room seating group comprised of a pair of English tufted lounge chairs, a matching ottoman and four matching throw pillows. Each piece is custom upholstered in Travers & Co. “Cluny Lampas Brocade" print fabric by Zimmer and Rohde having a stylish butter yellow ground. The chairs feature a dramatically scrolled back, broad rolled English arms, a deep button-tufted seat, and a full skirted base having pleated corners. The matching ottoman echoes the same tufted and skirted treatment. The set features an exceptional upholstery, with a warm butter yellow ground woven with whimsical figural and botanical motifs. The fabric print includes monkeys, rabbits, birds, flowering branches, and exotic animal forms. The richly patterned printed textile lends the set a layered and exotic quality while the chair's design embodies English Country House styles. An ideal grouping for a living room, library, bedroom, sitting room, or sunroom. The frames are sturdy with solid joinery and construction. The vintage fabric shows well, and is in presentable condition with a slightly faded patina having some minor stains as seen in photos.
