Large English bamboo Canterbury or magazine Stand made in the chinoiserie revival taste of the early 20th century, Europe. Features a lovely lacquered tortoise shell finish with two painted tiers or shelves. The shelves have an Asian foliate motif. The bamboo has brass end caps and the rack is supported by splayed legs.
