For The Love of French Cane
What is about french cane that is so sophisticated yet farmhouse? Cane is one of those versatile materials that easily go from country to city and fit in just fine.
If you find a piece of vintage cane furniture and all the cane is intact...By all means purchase it. Cane lends an organic feel to a room. Caning is a lost art and quite expensive to redo. I know one man in Berkeley, CA who is the only local who is still caning after 20 some odd years.
