We snuck away this weekend to attend our first ever Las Vegas Furniture Market. I know you're saying "but I thought you guys only sell vintage furniture & antiques?" Well, your right but a girl still wants to see acres and acres of furniture, gifts, & trends. It was fun and overwhelming and lots of walking. There were textiles, jewelry, art, furniture, bedding, tabletop, and gifts.

We saw some amazing sites but nothing can compare to the quality of the past. Things just aren't made today the way they used to be. I love to take high end antiques and sprinkle in new pillows and accessories to modernize antiques. To find a vintage Louis sofa and have it reupholstered in some ikat or textiles is so chic and screams the personality of it's owner. It was great for inspiration and always fun to visit Las Vegas.

This show is open to buyers, dealers, and the trade and is held twice a year. Once in January & August. I recommend the January show...much cooler.

Here are a few iPhone shots.
