Furniture As Focal Points

I absolutely love homes and real estate. Daily I peruse all the home sites and look at all types of homes all over the world. I imagine its a pretty collective feeling that we all have wanderlust right now. One of the things that really stand out to me is when people flip homes and the quality of the building materials. You know the things you buy "off the shelf" at your local home building store. That got me thinking how wonderful it would be to use antique and vintage cabinets in your kitchen as a focal point instead of cheap particle board cabinetry.

This idea is definitely not new but I have a real hankering to do this. We did a photo shoot last week and used a huge cabinet in this way and it made me so excited thinking of all this storage that you could have in your kitchen or breakfast nook and have everything displayed beautifully.
