Large late 19th century country French provincial farmhouse dining table featuring a trestle style base. Crafted from oak the table top is made with 2.5 inch thick timber planks. The top is supported by hourglass shaped legs conjoined by a large stretcher with exposed mortise and tenon joinery ending with wide shoe feet. Very heavy and solid with classic European farmhouse profile and euro skinny dimensions. The rich dark finish showcases the rich grain patterns of the oak.
